2006 request for presentations

What's NewThe request for presentations for the 2006 Conference is closed.
Thank you for your submissions.

You are invited to submit a paper for presentation at the 17th Annual National Collegiate FM Technology Conference (NCFMTC) being held August 1-4, 2006 at the University of Missouri-Columbia campus in Columbia MO. The conference theme this year is “Taking FM Technology to New Heights.” The main thrust will be to focus on topics that will be of interest to attendees in the areas of web-based facilities/space management systems, GIS, document management, historic preservation, space planning/programming, and master planning. This will be an opportunity for you to share your knowledge, experience, and expertise with others in attendance.

We are committed to bringing together key decision-makers and those responsible for facility management and strategies. Also, we will have a wide variety of subjects for the various breakout sessions, while staying within the conference theme. The conference will provide an excellent opportunity for sharing information and experiences among the attendees who have the responsibility for developing and operating the systems needed to manage campus facilities.

The conference will focus on networking and sharing new technologies and approaches that will increase the effectiveness of facility management. With stagnate or decreased budgets, we need to be more efficient in the use of technology to compensate for a lack of new resources and technical staff. Focused groups of individuals who share the challenges of doing more with less in facility management will also be present. Your knowledge and expertise in applying new and innovative techniques to increase efficiency will be greatly appreciated and timely.

If you have an expertise or specialty in how electronic technology can facilitate this year’s theme and you would be willing to speak at one of the sessions, please complete the attached speaker data and reply form. I look forward to seeing you at this year’s conference at the University of Missouri – Columbia.
